Enrollment for the Summer 2021 Semester at Polk State College willstart on March 29 with priority registration for students who have completed at least 50 percentof their program requirements.Open enrollment will begin on April 5. Classes will start May 10.
Currently enrolled students will be able to check the status of their program requirements on March 19 and whether they qualify for priority registration on Passport, where they can alsoregister for classes.
Dual enrollment students should work with their high school advisors and email [email protected] for additional assistance if needed. Prospective students must submit a free online application to Polk State. Information about the
application, orientation, and registering for classes is available at www.polk.edu/admissionaid/admissionsteps.
It is important to note that Polk State remains in Phase II of its Return to Campus Plan, with many classes taking place online or in hybrid formats which integrate in-person and online learning. When registering for classes in Passport, students should check the course descriptions for specific details about class formats and expectations.
Services including advising and financial aid are available remotely and in-person by visiting the Lakeland Technology Building (LTB) on the Lakeland Campus or Winter Haven Administration Building (WAD) on the Winter Haven Campus.

• Assistance with technology needs for students to access their classes is available through the Academic Support Line at 863.669.2833.
Students should note that the College will be closed for spring break from March 22 through March 28. While the College is physically closed for spring break, students will be able to receive assistance by emailing [email protected] or calling 863.297.1000 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Polk State has also compiled a list of resources for students to access technology, tutoring, library services, and more for free remotely. Students and visitors who need to come to campus should continue to follow Return to Campus Plan and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines closely, including wearing cloth face coverings and practicing social distancing. Students should continue to monitor www.polk.edu and their Polk State emails and accounts for important updates and additional resources.
