With more industry, the city will flourish from new jobs and economic opportunities. Polk County offers an incentive known as Qualified Target Industry (QTI) Tax Refund. This tool was developed to incentivize job growth and capital investment.
Essentially, Florida has several industries that are targeted for success because of their strength and contribution to the state's economy. These industries include manufacturing, information technology, emerging technologies, clean energy, life sciences, and more.
